Tom is an incredible artist and a genius with lyrics. He's one of the most politically aware people I've ever heard of, and if more people were this smart the world would be a much better place. <3

Morello's growth as a singular song writer is coming along very nicely. My only complaint is the lack of proper advertising. I've been waiting for the next Nightwatchman album for the past 2 years :(

When i first saw this album at my local record store, i was kinda skepticle about buying it because of the fact that tom morello was doing a folk cd. When i got home i jumped on itunes to preview it... i gave it a chance and fell in love with it. Morello's voice is dark and emotional while he tells his dark tales of politics laced with allegories. The guitar work is nothing short of amazing, you can tell morello put his heart and soul into this cd. Anyone who is a folk fan or in the mood for some dark tales, then this cd is a must buy. If you are looking for another rage cd or out of this world solos, then be prepared to be disappoited.
