Long Live the Ashes

I believe I know his mom. I am a massage therapist. She introduced me to kevins music last year. I would actually use this album in a treatment room! Licking county is very proud of their native son!

Kevin Dean's music beautifully orchestrated with surprising and exciting melodies and his voice is so relaxing. His lyrics are heartfelt, real, and down to earth, and without a pinch of cliche. This CD has been on repeat in my car for the past 3 months, and everytime I listen I hear something new and interesting. It's just hands down great music. He's also just as fantastic live! "Long Live the Ashes" is definitely worth a buy, and Kevin Dean is someone to keep your eyes peeled for in the up-and-coming music scene.

Kevin's lyrics are unbelievable; it is obvious through this CD that he is very passionate about his career as a musician. I highly recommend downloading the entire CD - you will absolutely get your money's worth! I am already excited for the next album!

I really enjoy this album. It has a nice mix of smooth melodic songs as well as some that are up beat and energetic. What I like most is the emotional imapct of the songs. You can really feel the lyrics while you listen. This album has the potential to make you happy or sad or a mix of both. I always turn to it when I want cheer myself up or just wash away my current emotion. I highly recommend picking it up if you like soulful singing and excellent lyrics.
