This is a wonderful album! I love the ballads -- especially "All this time" and "Where will you be," and the instrumental pieces are great too! Well done Sara!

Nice relaxing music. Great to hear something other than traditional country. This has such a sincerity to it that I can't recommend it highly enough!

I'm not the biggest fan of this kind of music, but this CD really got me interested. I'd give this CD a 6 if I could.

First of all, I disagree with the other review that said her voice is "paper-thin" ... True, she's not one of those big voluptuous R&B/soul voices, but then again I'm not really a fan of that style. Anyway, I'm only critical of this album because I know Sara has a lot more in her. I do agree that she's got a bond with Nickel Creek that pulls out a special tone and ear for harmonies when she performs with them... I think if she gets to do some more solo work she'll probably get more comfortable with that on her own. Still, I have to admit I'm critiquing one of the most beautiful voices I've heard in a long time and she could melt my heart singing the phone book.

It's nice to see that out of Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers there's a really good singer out there.

I had the privilege of seeing Sara open up for John Prine and fell in love with her. Her voice is awesome, complementing her outstanding fiddling. She was able to captivate the crowd playing solo: a crwod who was far more interested in seeing John Prine than her. Her performance motivated me to check out this album and I love it! Both her own tunes and the wonderful covers she does make this a play it over and over again record for me.

I have always felt that Sara was the inspiration behind the brilliance of Nickel Creek. At the Largo Coronet, her songs and personality shine so brihgt when she plays with her brother and friends. It was a long time in coming, but this album was well worth the wait. Sara's voice is angelic and only rivaled in my opinion, by the legendary Alison Kraus. This is a great album for a Sunday afternoon.

I was heartbroken when Nickel Creek decided to take a "sabaticcal" but Sara's album will be the musical sustenance I need to sustain me until they reconviene....which they will do....for my sake. I have always enjoyed the peaceful, musical talents of Sara Watkins and her Nickel Creek kin. Such music is hard to come by and I only wish the others made solo albums like Sara's which seems to keep closer to that of the NC flavor. Thanks, Sara and keep on playin' and singin'!
