If I could use one word to describe this album, it would be 'eclectic'. This might be a cliche term in music but Greenland really does encapsulate the word. There is something for everyone, from smooth r&b to neo-soul, to pop/funk/rock and even songs that are hard to categorize. The depth of the lyrics, lovely melodies and top notch production make it a worthwhile experience. I also love the fact that she fuses African sounds in her music. Her music might have a global sound but she doesn't falter in taking a piece of Africa to the world.
