The lead singer of this band was my 8th grade Spanish teacher! Not only did I learn more in his class than any other, all the students absolutely loved him. And even without that sentimental value this is just a great band. I love everything about their music...and it really does help to know that the lead singer is a great guy! :)

Haha I had the lead singer as my teacher last year when he was new, and it was awesome! This music is absolutely wonderful, I love it, and I am so glad to have been introduced to it! Everyone should check them out sometime! :D

I don't think there is one song on this CD that I couldn't listen to over and over again. The more I hear it - the more I LOVE it. I play it over and over again and can't take it out of the CD player. Passing Signs speaks to me. Divine Divide moves me. The Rift takes you places other musicians don't even try. I could go on and on. I've told everyone I know about this great new up and coming band. The story behind their "fallen brother" shown on the cover hits you in the heart. LOVE IT!

I had been amazed that I didn't know about Sofo before. The songs so perfectly constructed. The guitars, the bass, the percussion, the DIDGERIDOO, for fork's sake. All so perfectly melded into a blend of musical bliss. There's never a specific instrument in these songs that is focused on. It's as if it all fit so perfectly that is just melded into this one giant super-instrument. You know that big robot the Power Rangers always formed at the end of the episodes, and then they would kick the crap out of the final bad guy and save the day? Like that, only not as many tights. Which makes it all the better. The emotion in the songs really comes out and makes you feel it. You don't just hear the music, you feel it. That's the only thing I would ever judge a band on. And Sofo really comes through with it.
I say again; How did I not know of these gentlemen? It seems as if I should have.
