I had a Paul Desmond cd simply called 'Polka Dots and Moonbeams' that included the first seven tracks presented here, minus 'That Old Feeling' and I used to listen to it constantly. Now, with this album and its ten tracks, longer running time and lovelier cover art, I listen to it even more.! The additional four tracks, not present on the other album, are welcome and fit aptly within the overall slow, liquid tempos at work here. Whether you really listen to this album or just have it on in the background, it's either a gossamer work of beauty or a sexy lullaby - your pick. The very definition of lush, you simply can't wrong with this album.
