I think this recording is superior to any that I have heard in quality and performance. I know that is a bold statement, but I have listened to Solti and Chicago many times as well as other very good recordings, but the Baltimore Symphony recording is among the greatest of all time!

I had the privilege of hearing Maestra Alsop and the BSO play these pieces live -- Wonderful performance of beautiful music.
