  • This is the best hip hop CD you will buy this summer

This CD deserves to be heard by a very large international audience. It's that good. I don't know how PPT is going to pick a single off this because almost every song is a hit. These talented guys make complex music with creative vocals. PPT has become one of my favorite music groups out there, and there are few hip-hop groups doing anything like what they are doing. This is the CD I was hoping someone would put out this summer. Thank you, PPT, for being the ones to do it. Buy this, listen to the whole album three times through, and you will be completely hooked and thanking me for recommending this.

If your idea of hip-hop has been set free from stiff dudes who barely move their shoulders and talking about "slangin' and bangin'", and instead pays homage to the fun and funky sounds of Cameo, de la soul, and PM Dawn without drowning in samples, then you should get this CD. It's where hip-hop's been--it's where hip-hop's going.

never got a chance to hear the first record but i listened to the samples on itunes and the production blew me away. i had to buy. the production on this record is nothing less than amazing. every single song on here has so much soul and life in the music. you cannot call these 'beats' this is soulful, actual, MUSIC.

What can I say? Great beats, strong lyrics, and no fear of thinking outside the box. These guys work so well together it's almost scary. The breakout songs will definitely be "Love Crimes" and "Electricity". Bravo, guys. I salute you.

Each song is unique and you can tell the influence. Dallas Got That Soul has a great melody and energy. I testify! Who's That Girl? is a great song and should get some club play, great candidate for a remix. God Save the "D" sounds like crazy Digital Underground influence (ala Sex Packets). Love Crimes just took me back to Spandau Ballet times, TRue!!! Great album guys! Kicking my shout out to Tahiti (aka Pimp Daddy Mack Boo-Boo)
