  • You'd be getting this one at a steal!

Five stars just isn't enough for the material on this record. Although there are some experimental tracks the album still manages to flow very nicely. The vocals are reminicent of the pristine beauty of the soft trickle of a stream and the sax can make someone's heart flutter with joy. The UFO-ish sounds on "Daylight" are a polite nudge that keeps you engaged in the album all the way through and the overall sound of "Life" symbolizes the twists, turns and uncertainty of the real world. You'd be crazy to pass up the inspiring experience this album has to offer.

I first heard the song "Soulful Music" on Anji Bee's wonderfull "CHILLCAST" podcast, and the next day I came here to iTunes and downloaded Shine's "The Common Station"...I was not disappointed! I was thrilled! I have been listening to this CD all week, every day, repeatedly, and the songs are not getting old, they are warm and inviting and I'm so happy I "discovered" this great CD. Get it yourself and find a new friend!

Wow...amazing! I am so happy to see you on ITunes...more, please! This is such a fresh and interesting mix, mellow, upbeat, down-tempo, easy, fresh. Comme Si L'amour my fav. Thanks. --NSG

This is a great album! This band is often called the French Morcheeba or Massive Attack, but their sound is also very unique. Great chillout music, but also some good up tempo stuff, too.
