A jazzy kind of DnB that is amazingly clean sounding and unique. It really reminds me of not only High Society but also Jamiroquai's Virtual Insanity in parts. Absolutly spectacular and refreshing.

.. High Contrast's "High Society." A classic and soulful D&B album without the pretension of other new releases by other luminaries.

Adventures of future's past! This album is the next generation of great drum and bass. I had to anxiously await about 6 months for the release. This album sounds like some of the best soul / jazz fusion music of the 70's with an 07's curves. Not since the first Roni Size and Represent album was released, have I been moved to tears of joy. Thanks man, for making music of hope in a current state of the world that seems full of darkness.

This album is timeless. No doubt about it. The production level of these tracks is remarkable, using very little samples and extremely talented musicians, D. Kay has produced an album that just sounds beautiful. While keeping a "Liquid" drum n' bass structure throughout most of these tracks, D. Kay has taken risks as well. Tracks such as "Boiling Point" and "Serenade Re-Interpretated" bring musicality that is rare among the dance genre. Tracks like "Fat Cop" and "Chicks Love It" are club-worthy and sure to be hits on the dance floor. I couldn't recommend a better drum n' bass album. Props to D. Kay and the musicians who contributed. This one is special.
