The Rapture? Franz Ferdinand? Not to diss on either of those fine bands, but c'mon, give me a break. This album is the brainchild of Dan the Automator and Russel Simmins. Dan is been in Handsome Boy Modeling School, Gorillaz, Deltron 3030, Dr. Octagon, to name a few. Russell Simmins is from Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and Butter 08. Much funkier and hip-hop influenced than either of those bands. Give it a listen, you won't regret it.
