LOVE Jay Brannan. Everything he does is genius. Saw him last month in Minneapolis, and he was great live. Not to mention, he's pretty easy on the eyes. His voice is incredible and he sounds even better live than he does on his recordings. Who knew there were still people like that out there :)

His recordings are great but don't compare to him live. Amazing vocalist, talented song writer, all and all a well rounded musician. Whats well rounded? my face hurts

Jay Brannan is a fresh new talent, whose song writing and singing is beautiful & haunting. The first time I watched is videos and listen to his music, I fell in love with him and his talent. While watching the videos of the songs, as he performs the songs, you KNOW that these songs are from his heart & soul. I predict that Jay Brannan will be one of the writer - singer that will be listened to by generations of Gay & Str8 listeners, because of he writes & performs from his heart.

Jay Brannan has inspired me to pull out my acoustic guitar. After hearing his endearing "Housewife" on youtube, I watched him play it over and over again until I got the picking down. Anyways, he's marvelous. His guitar work is so original, and his lack of training allows him to experiment and be more creative in his playing. And did I mention that voice? That is what angels sound like! Strong, smooth, expressive, and gorgeous. His songs are insanely original, not what you hear on the pop charts. His lyrics are unexpected and at times will make you go "Did he really just say thati?!" Which is a GREAT thing. Each track here is unique, enchanting, and amazing. I love Jay Brannan with all my heart.

generally, pretty good but 26 hour day has an unattractive beat and the lyrics are stupid.
