I think dance of the tumblers was the best. I played just recently in my middle school band a little bit faster than them.

This version is great! The orchestra sounds amazing and I have yet to find another version of The Nutcracker with as much emotion behind the music.

I got this on cd back in the nineties as I was looking for a good version of The Nutcracker, but this is truly an awesome version. Great fidelity and lush arrangements played with panache. It's like a wall of sound. I had no idea the original recording is over 40 years old.
