    I was in a reggae shop earlier today and I had a choice of buying four cd's that I had not heard before. I had a good feeling about Rob Symeonn. I've never heard his music before today and I have to say that this is one of the best reggae cd's I've heard in awhile. It's good to hear that there is someone who's putting a positive spiritual message in their lyrics and their music. Too many times we are bombarded with images of sex and debauchery in dance hall reggae and hip/hop music. Rob Symeonn comes to us with blessings and spiritual salutations and a deep concern for the soul of humanity in "The Chosen One." For any one who wants to know reggae outside of the realm of Bob Marley anything else they're playing on the Top 40 stations, I highly recommend this CD.

    This album is the much needed shot in the arm for Reggae music. Rob Symeonn has proven that he is indeed THE CHOSEN ONE. His melodic voice commands that you take a hard listen to his message. The smoothe and solid production takes this album to the "next" level. Original and thought-provoking with a KILLER sax on the Empress Instrumental which, by the way, would be at home on the playlist of any Jazz Radio Station AND the awesome power of"Light Of Mine", this album sets a new standard. Let it Shine. If you are looking for something with a real message and a tight production, your search has ended with THE CHOSEN ONE.
