mind blowing??

Okay. First of all, I believe that this music is very simple, far from mind blowing. The guy's words are hardly decipherable most of the time, and I preferred when he wasn't singing. Also, the song length is shorter than my attention span, which is saying a lot. They had decent ideas and hardly went anywhere with them. Overall, compared to the reviews, this album was very disappointing. Buy it if you want something EASY to listen to.

Very musical! The strings add a whole new dimension. It has a "home-y" feel to it. I can drink a cup of tea or coffee to this.

Certainly the best album out of the bunch. It can have a galloping pace and then can slow down and calm your heart. Beautiful strings. The subtleties with some of the instruments are amazing. An indie-folk must! If you ever have a chance to see them live, they are superb!
The best album I've bought in years

This album grew on me. Listen to it in headphones or with a nice system and high volume to really feel every part of this great accoustic ensemble. The other reviewer said it perfectly, this music will transport you to a sunny day somewhere beautiful.
so worth it.

I was also at the Holocene in Portland this weekend where Horse Feathers played. I couldn't have been happier that I made the decision to go out and see them. It's music like this that makes me want to never leave the room, to never open my eyes, to never wake up from the dream that they portray. Absolutely breathtaking live performance, and I believe the album captures it rather well.
Not like Band of Horses

Decent songs and album...but the only similarity to Band of horses is the word Horse. The comparison is irrelevant. I'm not hating on this album...but they are not similar artists. Pick up the new band of horses...that is the goodness
