This band had some great songs in the Eighties, Halfway to Heaven did not get a lot of radio airplay however; it is a great song with deep lyrics. I am not a huge fan but this band deserved more airplay much like the east coast band Kix, Childs Play and Face Dancer. The Final Countdown and Carrie was all the Program directors wanted played but this band was great live and deserves better reviews than what is on here. If your ony into Metal this record would not be for you but I would only say to maybe listen to some other grest bands and sounds from all of the decades of great music we have at our fingertips!

By dont listen to the hype
this may very well be the worst best of album ive ever heard, this one pathetic excuse of a band, they should switch gears and pull a sheryl crow and start stealing songs from every one else and completely destroy their works too. why not start with barry manilow, and then do covers of their own work
OH YEAH!

Don't judge this band by their haircuts, judge them by their songs that you'll find yourself playing over and over again!

Come on, you are buying songs by Europe not because there is anything mind-blowingly original or there is anything fantastic about the songs. You are buying these songs for the 80's hair band nostalgia. It is like watching an action movie from the 80's, it brings back memories and feelings but at the same time, you say "I can not believe I used to think this was good!" The cheese factor becomes a guilty pleasure - you know you should not like it, but you are drawn to it, and you laugh embarassingly (but with pleasure) when someone catches you playing them. But hey, look at the bright side, the band did not all dress up in yellow and black leather!
