I can't say there is a bad Social D album but after The great M. Haggard passed I can still hear the influence in the music I love. RIP Merle thank you for giving Mike and the boys a platform to work of of. Long live Rebel Rock!!

My favorite Social D record and one of my alltime favorite records. the first three tracks, Cold Feelings, into Bad Luck, into a punked up cover of the country classic Making Believe is an epic beginning to a record. So good!

I had heard of Social Distortion all through high school but never listened. In the winter of 1992, after graduating from Army Basic Training and AIT, the bus enroute to Fort Benning, GA for Airborne School stopped at the post exchange for a 30 minute break so we could buy stuff for the trip. I bought a Sony Walkman cassette player and this album. The entire trip I spent listening to this album and fell in love with the band. Since then, I have purchased all Social D albums enjoying them immensely. I have seen them twice in concert here in AZ and have just been in awe of the range of fans there. From 5 year old to 50 year olds, Social D has ignited something in all ages with their hard-core punk/50’s era rock/alternative/old R&B blending. This album started it all for me.
nice one

This is a great record. Straight ahead, no b.s., great attitude, timeless. Chuck, Jerry Lee, Johnny, Hank would all be proud.
