I like the sound of it, but the new songs Chappell roan has been making have been terrible. Her other song The Giver was nasty. This one’s fine but her other songs were so much better. I still have faith in you Chappell roan. If you can make an actually good song, you’ll still have your fan. Plus, she keeps making singles, but when is she making an album.

It’s Her Best Song Yet

Having been obsessed with this song for about a week now, I can already tell that it will probably be my favorite song of the year, which is kinda crazy, but it really is THAT good.
Most musicians (especially those dealing with sudden massive success like Chappell has) don’t follow up with their best work yet, but she definitely has here.
Chappell does an amazing job, not just singing, but at her vocal performance as a whole. She completely sells the heartbreak she’s going through in the song.
Add in some superb production from longtime producer Dan Nigro and you have something pretty special.
It’s a shame some people will dismiss it for political reasons, but it’s their loss, because this is an amazing song and I hope it becomes the smash success it deserves to be.
