I hear what appears to be an honest effort toward making a real country song. At least from a production standpoint. But let’s be honest, in todays day & age where every style of music is saturated with trap beats, electronic drums and autotune this song was going to sound more country by simply leaving those things out. Either way, it still just sounds a lot like a generic pop country song mainly because of the vocals. This song is way better than anything on Beyonces so called country album, but she has a long way to go to compete with Lainey Wilson.
