Honestly there's nothing I don't like about this album. I stumbled across them and grab the album and have not been disappointed.
Best effort in recent releases

Extinction and blue venom needed to be longer. Best songs along with the temple. Overall better quality and grouping of songs. Still some generic predictable stuff but better than the last couple albums.

Man, they slayed all demons & devil musically. Best album yet. God is rampant in music showing who is boss through these fine gentleman.
Best album they’ve had in a while

I am greatly impressed. The songs are very good and have that old FFAK energy to them whilst also being something completely different. It feels like the evolution that was supposed to happen right after Dark Skies, but didn’t come; for sure Lonely God has more substance and craft than the last couple albums (HWC is okay, Path sucked). I think the band’s biggest issue is that they were cranking out albums so fast they ended up being rushed, that and their producer was repetitive and too shiny. Getting the producer who’s done Silent Planet and Dayseeker was a great choice, he did the album justice. The material has lots of effort and care put into it and it pays off handsomely. A few notable songs for me (all of the songs slap though) are No Tomorrow, Between Us, Witness the End and The Temple. Given a bit for the album to settle, this could be FFAK’s best album since Deathgrip, and one that showed they really needed to skip a year, and maybe do that from now on! Lonely God is one of the best albums of 2025, that much is certain.

The singles out are great, so the rest of the album should be too
