I needed a good laugh this morning. I find it funny how those little red “E”s are on certain songs for explicit, yet I can’t understand a single thing he’s uttering. Epic music, stupid vocal.

My first Lorna Shore album was Pain Remains, and while I enjoy that album greatly, this album goes even further. The production sounds tighter here, sometimes on Pain it just got to messy but you can hear each moment here clearly. Each song is memorable and keeps interest. They make 8 minutes feel like 3-4. If i had to suggest a song to start from go for Forevermore or Prison of Flesh. Those are my top favorites. I’m always happy to support bands when they release the good stuff and here it is, drink it!

……… and that’s not a bad thing. Lorna Shore have stepped up in a big way here. This, to me, is a better and more memorable record than Pain Remains (an amazing record in its own right). I’ve heard a few reviewers say it sounds like power metal at time with the lead work and I couldn’t agree more. I’d love for them to explore this more in the future while leaning even further into their black metal influence. Overall this is a fantastic record and I can’t wait to hear these songs live.

The atmosphere Lorna created on this album is amazing. It’s great to hear more guitar solos and great note choice in deathcore. I can see the symphonic parts can get a little repetitive but i honestly don’t mind at all and love the vibe.

Lorna Shore moved pasted the Pain and ended up sending everyone into Oblivion! (May 16th) Unbreakable rules! (But good thing they didn’t break any) [June 25th] Trapped within Fleshly Imprisonment is a slow agonizing death. (August 14th) We have a WILL visiting Glenwood (September 13th)

Dude, does Austin have to ice his feet before and after he rips? Wow. How many miles did he run during this album?
