The best Gaga record in a long time. A masterclass in pop music, the references to her influences like Bowie, Prince, MJ, Madonna, Tina Turner, Donna Summer, Bruce Springsteen, Tony Bennett, and her amazing gift of producing the most infectious ear candy melodies is worthy of praise.

Lady Gaga has outdone herself once again. Mayhem sees her revisit all her past eras, while exploring brand new sounds and pioneering an exciting new era we will cherish as much as the others, if not more. A perfect album with no skips from start to finish. Gaga has reminded the world that she is the Queen of Pop and she’s not going anywhere. Lady Gaga is Mother Monster, and she mothered all over this album!

This album has brought me back to life. I zombified now I'm back to serve 80s disco pop music. Mother monster has us back with her dark pop 80s style disco pop, and we're here for it. With hit after hit you won't be disappointed in this album.

I have not seen mother in her bag like this in YEARS. the night Disease dropped I was taken back to that 13 year old boy sitting in my bedroom trying to figure out why people didn’t understand me or why I wasn’t “normal” Lady Gaga taught me at very young age that normal is boring and to be myself. Her music has always been so cathartic for me. She has and always will be my escape. She is the artist of my generation. This record is about to change lives just like she’s done over the last 16 years of her career. She is a once in a lifetime artist. I can confidently say it’s Album of the year already and I haven’t even heard it yet. She truly is returning to form and while I have so enjoyed every step of this journey with her I can’t help but say I haven’t been this excited for a gaga record since ARTPOP. She said she made this record for her little monsters the ones who fell in love with her at her earliest in her career and for that I say thank you Stefani oh and of course thank you Michael we love you ❤️ We love you so much and I’m so beyond excited to enter this next chapter of your legacy. Love you forever Mother Monster 🖤

We never thought we’d be here a bit more than a decade ago after Lady Gaga’s disappointing ArtPop and Joanne albums debuted, that left her core fans scratching their heads wondering if their queen was lost to Has Been Land. And with moderate success and her desire to expand her musical palette (the Tony Bennett colab album) and her professional career as a very capable actress, and a moderately successful Chromatica album that seems rushed and short on songs, Gaga has finally delivered an album that rivals the quality of “Born this way”. But yet.. surprises even more due to the musical quality of the collection. Choosing “Abracadabra” as the lead single release is a proven way to reach out to her core fans and it worked. The song and video are Gaga superb. But unlike “Born this way”, this album is not full of club bangers and at first listen, that may somewhat disappoint her core fans. But wait… listen to this collection a couple of times and you’re bound to admire the work that went into producing this gem of an album. The album is full of bombastic rock and pop songs that truly showcases Gaga’s pipes and arpeggios. Her voice never sounded better. And like divas of previous years like Donna Summer for example, who could tackle any musical style with ease even if known only as “Queen of disco”, Gaga can do exactly the same with equal aplomb and artistic confidence with fierce electronic pop backing her vocal chops, just like Donna Summer did in her underrated later years of her career. “Disease” is a haunting yet beautiful slow tempo rock song that sets the tone for the extravaganza that follows. “Abracadabra” is already a club classic that revisits Gaga’s roots but with elevated production and fresh club beats. But in “Mayhem” the different styles of songs and somewhat slowed down tempos are a refreshing welcomed. “Garden of Eden” and “Perfect celebrity” are electronica rock excellence. “Vanish into you” is a beautiful love pop song tinted in light heavy metal. But to me.. the one song that merits release as the album’s next single is “Zombieboy”, which is reminiscent of Gwen Stefani’s “hollaback girl” but it’s infused with dance/soul melodies that also bring the 70s powerhouse dance group Chic to mind. Even the ballads that close the collection are beautiful songs and in “The Beast” .. when Gaga sings “I want the beast in me” I couldn’t help smiling at how naughty the girl can be. Maybe unintentionally but it’s deliciously dramatic Gaga. Many songs have enough beats to be danceable but their production and Gaga’s vocals make them delicious quality album fillers. To round up the album, the excellent duet with Bruno Mars “Die with a smile” is also here, a powerful duet with two of the most complimentary voices ever put on the same song. All in all “Mayhem” lives up to the hype, and delivers a full experience album with songs that average 3:30 minutes or longer in length, unlike “Chromatica” songs that were on average 2:45 mins in length and left me wanting more. “Mayhem” is probably Lady Gaga’s best and most crafted album in her excellent career and an audio experience to behold and savor. 5 stars for sure.

I love Gaga, like with any new project she releases at first listen I like it but after a couple time I am completely obsessed. I love all of her music, everything she does is golden. I think people who say she is copying other artists are funny. SHE IS TRULY AUTHENTIC, some people bpcanr handle authenticity, mostly narcissists. The greatest tracks; at first listen it was perfect celebrity the chorus is like amphetamine, so addictive and her background vocals are to die for! After several more listens on repeat since I got it, I now LOVE Shadow of a man and love drug which has an entry like a ticking bomb it’s so great. This album is fantastic. Honestly in todays world where even the leader of the country is a fake Its so refreshing to hear something that has some real meaning and work behind it. You can hear the real emotional pleas of her experience and she seems to be the happiest shes ever been, or at least the most confident. Bravo mother monster ❤️❤️
