I personaly prefer this album over pretty much all of her others. I feels she truly mixes it up in this album both in her voice and music. I though her other albums like fame were decent but alot of the music sounded same and to electronicy. I feel with this one shes bringing her voice out more and not relying on music so much. If you want more of lady gaga voice then this is the album!

Do I listen to Joanne? Why, yes, good sir (or ma'am’), I surely do! Do I have favorites that I have in playlists looping on repeat? Why, yes, friends, I certainly do! Now, you ask, why did I rate this a three out of five stars? Well, I suppose I’ll tell you-simply-that it is just....individual preferences. My tastes in music lean more in the Pop, R&B, and Rock arenas (even though I am currently digging Country-though I do have to wonder since that genre is sort of mixing it up with Pop, in my opinion). Yet, with all that said, Lady Gaga still crafts and delivers the masses a masterpiece. A majority of the songs are soft with an acoustic sound (example being Joanne) or have an Old Western movie-esque feel (Sinner’s Prayer). Then, of course, there are more Pop influenced ones such as Dancin’ in Circles and John Wayne while Perfect Illusion is reminiscent of ‘Born This Way’. Either way, though, it is a perfect album to hit on the road with. Now, onto the favorites (duh!): 1) Angel Down (4/5) 2) Joanne (4/5) 3) John Wayne (5/5) 4) Million Reasons (5/5) 5) Perfect Illusion (5/5) 6) Sinner’s Prayer (5/5)

I would say “one of your best” but everything you give us IS your best. In addiction to everything you have ever released, this is your best. I appreciate you and your work so very much, and thank you for being so vulnerable with this record. I listen to it daily and notice something I didn’t notice the day before. Love you so very much, Angel.

I do appreciate the genres and some of the songs on this album a lot. Even though I might have mixed feelings about it, I appreciate that is something Gaga has never done before! Million Reasons, Perfect Illusion (A grower but a good song), A-Yo, John Wayne and Joanne are some of Gagas best songs. And even though fun songs like Dancin in Circles exist, I still appreciate the more “authentic” kind of album and sound she went for. The album does feel boring and repetitive (lyrics) to an extent but I appreciate the freshness of it! Underrated album from Gaga for sure!
