Been a fan since House of Krazees and it’s CRAZY
how after all these decades they still make bangers. I’m first in line for TWIZTID the rappers, but I was actually a huge fan of Unlikely Prescription. And this is better than that. Rock on & keep it east side til we die!

  • A New Evolution

I wanna start this by saying that the reviewer who claimed The Darkness was Twiztid’s last best album is more than likely someone who can’t get over the fact that the Demented Duo are no longer under the vice grip of Psychopathic Records, particularly Violent J, and are free to cement their own legacy, sound and direction unlike their former mentors who have been stuck in the same rut for the past decade or so. With that being said, Twiztid’s rock evolution is one that gets better as time goes by. They’ve proven that they can crossover with their own unique sound that fans, from lifelong to first time listeners, can appreciate. Even though it’s hard to pinpoint a specific song I like but “Light The Way” has been on repeat for a few days now. While this album will obviously divide fans, I will always look forward to any and all rock/metal the Demented Duo put out.
  • Another masterpiece

Love how they don’t do the same album every album they put out. They are a very talented group who isn’t afraid to experiment with new sounds. Been playing on repeat since it came out on Friday.

Not sure why people complain. The album is fantastic! People need to realize there not going to recycle the same lyrics over and over like ICP. I love the direction they went in.

The moment you hit play, the demented duo bust through the gate swinging. Evolving their own take on nu metal
this time around, a lot more polished. Their producer Zeuss really help take their “Twiztid sound” and applied it perfectly into the rock/metal sound. Songs like dance on my grave, fed up & let me go; there’s no denying that it’s a twiztid joint. But the wake, thunder from the sky & leave the world; you can hear the creativity and hunger to try something new. Then on “light the way”, monoxide came out of left field with his shocking screech screaming that you can’t help but to head bang along. Twiztid definitely out did themselves with “Welcome to your Funeral” and I feel that they found their true sound in the rock/metal world.
  • Agreed..

The Darkness was the last great Twiztid album, this is soft rock, gonna make albums like this, you can’t compress the drums like that if you want it to sound heavy. The production makes no sense to me.
  • What happened?

I’m all for artistic growth and evolution, but Twiztid seems to be trying too hard to become metal rap only to end up with a painful, resounding throwback to 1997. Their last truly great album was “The Darkness” before they tried to become Limp Bizkit. What an absolute shame. I miss the old style horror core hip hop of Madrox & Monoxide. This album is pure cringe.
