I think I just became a new Jelly Roll fan after listening to a few songs from “Beautifully Broken’. I like his Country sound and new style. I am not a complete Country fan — I am a fan of exceptional quality talent that has reveals the heart and true soul in multiple genres, and I am drawn to amazing vocals. I am hearing a bit of blues and a pouring out of his soul. His sudden appearance and amazing voice, at a NFL half-time show, revived a mediocre half-time show. I got a few chills hearing him sing for the first time; there’s a story there of someone who is overcoming his life’s struggles. “…Born to Survive…;” Just bought three of his “Beautifully Broken” songs on Itunes. “Born Again” “Grace “ “Loney Road”; love how it incorporates John Denver’s words “…take me home…”. Jelly’s comeback and change story make me think today about the late-in-life comeback of one of my favorite incredible musicians, Leon Russell, with the help of Elton John.

I have never really got into Jelly Roll before this album. But this album is actually really good. Very meaningful. Everyone is battling their own demons and trying to get by and Jelly Roll is no different. Good work Jelly Roll.

This is pop. He’s become mainstream and he’s making real country music look bad. Great voice though, just in the wrong genre.

This is my favorite album he’s came out with. Every song on this album I relate to on such a deep level. He’s fulfilling the purpose he was born for, saving one suffering addict after another. He is the solution for this opioid epidemic our community is dying from.#wedorecover #jellyroll #MGK

Really??? This is terrible, literally a different sound every song. This dude can’t sing and clearly everything is digitized and doctored up with effects and duets to put lipstick on this disaster.
