Waited far too long, to be this disappointed, but here we are. Shake’s relationship with Depp feels sad & performative. The spoken word is cringe, it’s not deep, it’s unhealthy and wildly codependent. It simply doesn’t come close to her first two full albums, and while some might call this evolution, it looks & sounds like Shake traded NJ & her old friends, with actual talent for Los Angeles and all the shiny shiny. I’ve given up all hope of ever getting something like Trust Nobody, seems Shake is a pop girl now.
