The heart of this songstress runs deep and this album is nourishment for my soul. “I am not mad at you” is a healing balm of God’s kindness. “On to God” is a strong dose of courage. “I’d rather be with you” puts all the lesser things of life into perspective. “Say my name” articulates the longing of my heart. “I can” provides a shot in the arm and lifts my chin.
