More root less pop

This is a great album, even better than I Hate Cowboys (great album too). It picks up on country roots with more instruments and zero pop country. I personally love old school country and love blues and I think this slightly touches on both. Really, it is its own category of country and Im here for it. I will admit, I wasn’t a big fan of his music when he was in his country pop era, but since his last album, Ive been listening. Country music has always been story telling and Chase does just that, especially with Haw River, Arkansas, and his tribute to his daddy in You in 85. Keep up the great work Chase! Lean on God and He will guide you through this new era of your music.
