I love that Rex Oc has a distinct sound that still allows for evolution and variety. There’s a bit of maturity in the musicality here but lots of classic Rex progressions. A heartbeat kind of drive in a lot of songs. It’s unfortunate that people are so simple minded that they can’t separate accusations proven false in court from reality. This is a solid album with a lot to offer, for new fans and old. Definitely sticking to his brand of sleepy bedroom jazz with a folksy flair and gut wrenching melodies.

Probably the least exciting sounding album he’s put out. Everything sounds the same and put me to sleep very early into the listen. Sounds low quality and cheaply made. Super disappointed. Was expecting higher quality for as long as he had to work on it.
