This is what real country music is all about. “Americana is what’s keeping real country music alive. Story telling by working class/blue collar adults for working class/ blue collar adults

I actually have a tear in my eye. This is not just great music, but important and impactful. Keep on keeping on, no matter what happens to you. The lesson’s in this album are deep. God is great, life is precious, and be good to one another.

Incredibly genuine, heartbreaking, and uplifting. Songs for the many.
  • I’m happy it was all re-recorded into an album

I don’t review often, and am mainly doing so because it appears, based on the “popularity” ratings of the songs, that most people only bought the new song: It’s obvious the entire album was re-recorded. It sounds great, the lyrics were modified in some songs which is done well. The cadence of some songs is the biggest difference, also well executed. This is not necessarily the track list/order I would have chosen, but I was excited that an album was put together from the original track. Was a big fan of Virginia also, which did not make the cut. The re-recordings are fantastic though, and I’m glad I have the old ones as well.

Love his voice, the songs and music is raw and from his soul, not over produced like much of country today.
