The awesomeness that is JAMES

I have been a massive James fan since the release of Seven and at this point they have given me so much music awesomeness I would buy all of their releases. However, Way Over Your Head is an INCREDIBLE song on this album and if you are like me and would buy just because it is JAMES, that song will make it all worth it, over and over and over again.

James keeps on evolving. New members, new sounds. This is a smoother mix, without a lot of the jagged edges from, say, "Girl at the End of the World." So, reasonable people may disagree, but to me, this is a triumph, the logical outcome of what happens when you take the emotional content and big choruses of "Millionaires" and mix it with the tech and sonic FX of "La Petit Mort." Does any other rock and roll act lay a stronger claim to optimism, to flat out rejecting cynicism? And has anyone written a better cell-phone critique than "Mobile God"? I don't think so. Personal fave so far: "Better With You," which just about sums it up. Life is better with James. Thanks for getting away with it––again.
Bring the old James Back

I have not bren a huge fan of their recent albums like Girl at the end of th world and Yummy having a more electronic vibe with drum programming ans heavy synths. I want the good James back that plays the catchy guiatr hooks and rock athems we all have loved over the years.. I also thnk their choice in procuers has had an impact. Bring back the talents of Stephen Hague or Brian Eno and those guys from the classic 90's era sound of James.
Yummy!

I think of James as my little secret. Caught them in this little club in Minneapolis and was hooked. Check out some of their other stuff, you won’t regret it!
