This Japanese Trio is the best band I have heard in years....Here is the USA I was lucky enough to discover them 3 months ago when I saw a live YouTube video of them. This is their third full album of songs . The key elements here are the FLOWING, SOARING MELODIES AND BEAUTIFUL VOCALS. The Songwriter Singer and guitarist MOEKA SHIOTSUKA is an amazing talent , Bassist YURIKA KAWANISHI is fantanstic with her dramatic lines and drummer HIROA FUKUDA is equally dynamic and dramatic with perfect support. This collection OUR HOPE is full of great songs...I do not speak Japanese but the MELODIES here and the emotive and beautiful range of MOEKA SHIOTSUKA'S voice is simply mesmerizing. My favorite songs here are the opening cut HOPI the soaring HIRAKU TOKI, CAROL, my personal favorite right now is WONDER incredibly dynamic and almost operatic in melodic reach. YOKAN ends the album in a composition that goes from acoustic folk like strumming to loud ALT-ROCK distortion and back. I really reccommend this band and this ALBUM COLLECTION of songs! Fantastic.
