    The professional review is correct, it is hard to capture the energy this band brings to the stage... I have seen them many times ( I am a fan) and to truly appreciate these guys you gotta see them, that said I will still recommend this album to anyone who wants a taste of really good, authentic Chicago blues, I take issue with the statement that you will forget the tracks the next day. But maybe thats because I saw them perform this album live. At any rate Little Ed and the Blues Imperials are performing music that is becoming a lost art form, so you'd better get it while you can & catch them at a live venue, they won't clean out your wallet like a lot of artists.

    I saw Lil' Eddy on Late Night, when Conan was in Chicago and they performed on Late Night a couple months after that.
