The title song on Williams’ Christmas album popped up through my music provider when I searched for “Christian Christmas music.” I was looking for new music because after awhile, I literally can’t stand the repetitiveness of the standard secular and sacred Christmas songs!
It’s ironic that I can’t stop repeating this album. Williams’ fresh takes on old favorites, as well as a couple that aren’t quite as overplayed (“This Christmas” and “That Spirit of Christmas”) have hit the spot. I agree with the reviewer regarding “Mary Did You Know.” You can tell Williams just wanted to do something different, but for that particular song, it failed. But all the other ones are great and the original, “I Don’t Want Christmas to End,” is well written, lyrically and musically.
Thanks Zach Williams, his band and producers, for giving us some good tunes during what normally is a musical wasteland for many.
What a fun album!

As a lover of Christmas music, I’m always on the search for different artists and covers of the classics. Zach is from my hometown and what a pleasant surprise that he did a Christmas album: I love that he did The Spirit of Christmas from Christmas Vacation. It is an all time favorite & I love Zach’s version as well as Merry Christmas Baby.
Fantastic album!

Soul, funk, blues - this album has got it all. Definitely helps to get into The Spirit!
Horrible Rendition

I love Zach Williams, and when I saw “Mary, Did You Know” I was excited. Then I hit Play, and this was the worst rendition of it. He destroyed my favorite Christmas ever.
