Released in 1991, this was Collin Raye's debut album, and what a great start it was! Of course the most recognizable song here is the classic hit, and probably his signature song, "Love, Me." This song is just as touching now as when it was first released, and it's still of my favorite songs of his. However, I'm still amazed at how great the rest of the songs are, and how classic country sounding the album is. "Every Second" is another one of my early favorites and was the follow up single to "Love, Me." This lighthearted shuffle puts me in a happy mood to this day when I hear it. "Blue Magic," "Sadly Ever After," "All I Can Be (Is A Sweet Memory)," and "Scuse Moi, My Heart" are other great upbeat tunes with catchy melodies an irresistible classic country sound. The bluegrass influenced "Any Old Stretch Of Blacktop" is such a fun song to listen to, especially when driving. "Faithful Old Flame" is such a great heartbreak ballad, and I think it could've been another hit song for him if released as a single. Same thing with "It Could've Been So Good." Any Collin Raye fan, or really any fan of good old traditional country music should not miss out on this one!
