Bad english second record wasnt promoted because the band Broke up prior to mixing it and Neal schon and ricky Phillips wanting a Harder rock sound and John waite and John cain wanted emphasis on Vocals and Melody and songwriting It proved their undoing that said Its better then most people think and has as Manny Highlights as the first record

This was an awesome band! I think they split up to soon. The first album was so big the record company rushed them into putting out this much weaker album and it cost them. They ended up splitting up.Yet, Journey got a new lead singer and John Waite went on tour with them.I never understood that. But anyways I loved both albums, the first one is a lot better.

While not as successful as the supergroup's self titled debut album, this sophomore effort was a solid album. A great mix of hard rockers and power ballads. John Waite's vocals, Neal Schon's riffs, and Jonathan Cain's keyboards carry the album. If you loved their first album you'll find plenty to like with this effort.
