Average vocals seem to drag down totally awesome music tracks IMHO. And I can't decide whether LS' singing is uninspired or just uninspiring. Adding sentimental swing tunes into the West Coast Blues mix? As the kids say these days, "Meh . . ." And if this is a harmonica player's record, you sure don't hear much, if any, in these iTune snippets. Like the mandolin sound on a track, tho'. Po' Mr.'s fav cut here is "Not Your Clown". Now THAT'S swingin' blues guitar playin', Y'all. The late, great Les Paul be riffin' in his grave!

This album rocks along with all the other Lynwood Slim's previous CD's. They only have this one on iTunes but he has some others that are really great too. Lynwood Slim and his band are some of the most talented musicans around. He's paid his dues and his Soul comes thru loud and clear. Beautiful production work and timing make this a "must" for any fan of great music.
