An emotional and turbulent album

It is obvious that this is not an Austra album you are going to necessarily dance to. After all, it is not completely uplifting to think about the anticoagulant peptides secreted by leeches. This is an emotional album with some moments of joy but a good dose of pain expressed throughout. I would rate this album behind Feel It Break and Future Politics. My favorite track, by far, is All I Wanted although I wish there was a clean version I could play to my Austra-loving children.
