I remember when this cd first came out, back in 1991. I was a very little child. When the first track played in my home for the first time, I began to gush the happiest of tears. It took me into a daydream much like it’s very own cover picture, the field of sunflowers. I haven’t heard it for years as the cd is tucked away in my storage unit, well preserved. I played it again tonight with a download of it. The happy tears came on once again, like an ocean tide coming to the shore. I needed to hear and feel this again, here in 2022. George Winston’s piano music is a great American treasure! Timeless music, that’s worth the download here on iTunes.
