This is so beautiful - Beck you are incredible. I love the melodies, the feel. Uneventful Days is my personal favorite.
If Janet Jackson’s “Come Back to Me” and the water level theme from Super Mario 64 had a baby it would be this album. And that’s not a bad thing.
Update: the more I listen to this album to more beautiful it is. Beck is a Genius. Black Places and Everlasting Nothing are gorgeous songs.

I love the new foray into new territory, I like that there is an element of experimentation even though it presents super polished. I met Beck in Ventura, CA back in the days of Sukia, Money Mark & DJ Shadow. This album excites me as much as Odelay & Guero. Favorite track is See Through. Run a bath, light some incense and hit the Jack (Herer that is) and turn this album up. You need to crawl inside this one a bit.
