Ernie did it again. His soulful tone, spot on lyrics, and I-wanna-jive-with-you all night long melodies make me never want to turn off the record. He’s so talented and creative, down to earth, and truly likable. We play him non-stop in my house and I’m so grateful for that fateful day I came across one of his singles - 15 years ago in a coffee shop. You can’t not like him. How many times have you heard someone say “They don’t make records like this anymore” when referring to something older, iconic, a classic maybe? Well, Ernie Halter just made a record LIKE THAT. This record is smooth. The live vibe is so good it’s scary. It’s flat out one of the coolest collection of songs I’ve ever heard.
