KWS covers nearly every type of song; blues, rock, ballads, et al. Great job overall. Listen to the album a couple of times and you'll like every song. Definitely an album to buy.
Where's the BLUES?

Another disappointment with too much country and not enough rocking blues. Just like his previous effort. I used to automatically get anything by KWSB, but not anymore. Still waiting for that blues vibe from their earlier albums.
Another imprrssive album

KWS is so great and under appreciated by so many. Love Noah Hunts vocals and Kenny is singing more and better too. Great band overall.
Great album

This is a great album. May not have a classic like blue on black but 100% worth a purchase. You won’t be disappointed.
Absolutely Fantastic !!!!

We didn't have to wait long for more great music since Lay It On Down ! KWS Band delivers an album that showcases the bluesy rock side of this band. Woman Like You will grab you right from the start . This set of tracks gets better with each listen. GREAT JOB GUYS !!! T.B. Wonder

KWS gets better with each and every release. He’s really learned his craft well with his vocals as solid as his guitar playing. Amazing cover of Turn To Stone is icing on the cake.
Excellent Work KWS Band!

The song "I Want You" has Kenny singing blues as soulful as I've heard his pipes. The two guitar runs in this song will leave you exhausted as far as the blues riffs (bending strings like SRV). I have this "pre-ordered" and can't wait for THE TRAVELER release date when we can listen to the whole 'thang!!
Cool as always

I’ve seen him three times met him once. Last album was great and the first three song didn’t let me down.

I have followed Shepherd since he was a kid and I believe many have. He was pretty awesome at the blues festivals my wife and I attended. Then, I saw him in vegas at the Hilton and he unloaded a couple of extended solos during "blue on black" that are etched in my mind. If he is not the best out there, then he is pretty close. Combined with always a great rhythm section he never disappoints and these tracks are no exception.
