I was surprised when I found this on I-tunes tonight, and discovered that it is now selling for far more than what I remember purchasing it for years ago. But I must say, even at the current greater price I would consider it a bargain. What a charming set, revealing the wonderful variety of symphonies created by the very man who has been described by some as the father of the symphony.

In 1975, I started collecting these LP album sets. These were joyful and spirited because the musicians were expressing national heritage and pride. I took all the books and had them bound into a single volume! When they were first available for download, I bought them. The CD-ROM version was sold for $150!
