Great production, incredible theme of race issues that are still relavent as of 2024. 16 Tracks that are so amazing that I can't pick my favorite or least favorite. There's no doubt that this is the great album and I feel more sure of that every single year.

Look, this was a unique and interesting album, and I respect what Kendrick was trying to say. But that being said, he’s just not good at music. He’s just not good at making music that sounds good, or is enjoyable to listen to. Most of the beats on this album, just don’t sound good, and my biggest problem is his wrapping, and his flow, he only has one flow for most of the album, and it’s not really even much of a flow, it’s just more like him whining, and a high-pitched voice. The only song where he really switches it up and actually sounds like a rapper is all right, but the rest of it is just like he’s talking at you rather than rapping. He just doesn’t have much rhythm in his flow, and he sounds like he’s forcing it. He also isn’t as lyrical as people say, so it can be boring trying to listen to him say this supposedly deep content in the most simplistic way, when there are far better lyricists who could have done it better. Overall, this was just not a very enjoyable album to listen to, due to the fact that Kendrick just isn’t good at music. Overall, I think it's safe to say that J Cole was right, this album definitely "put people to sleep" lol
