I’ve been taking care of my father who is terminally ill with cancer. It’s been the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Your music points me to Truth, and by doing so has been such a rich blessing and encouragement to my heart as I listen to it and don’t just hear your voice or melodies but I hear God’s resounding truths in what scripture teaches us! Your music is a reminder of James 1:17 to me. I’m thankful for your music, and I’m thank for you Sarah! - Jess E || Toledo, Ohio
New sounds, pure message

I absolutely LOVE Sarah Reeves’s album, “Easy Never Needed You.” It’s honestly one of the few albums out there where literally every song on the soundtrack is my favorite. The songs are are both worshipful and catchy.
I don’t know who else feels this way, but Christian music can start to sound very much the same. There’s a guitar, there’s a “whoa” after a couple of words, and it generally borders on folksy. Of course, I don’t have a problem with that as long as it’s praising God, but as someone who enjoys mainstream pop, I love how this album has great beats along with a great message: that God is holy and sovereign and we need to surrender to His loving will.
That being said, I do wish Sarah would use the actual name “God” or “Jesus” more often rather than the vague “you.” I realize the goal is to be personal and prayerful, but it would be nice to identify the recipient of our worship.
Nevertheless, the lyrics hold so much truth in them. My favorite songs would have to be:
1)Details- it’s beautifully sung and tells the story of how God took care to put His love into every details of our lives
2)Faithful- the message is pretty self-explanatory but it’s a great worship anthem to remember how faithful God is to us
3)I Love You- Kirk Franklin’s part is pure gold because I can relate to growing up in the church and having to decide for myself at some point that God is worth loving back
4)Nowhere- though the lyrics are initially very simple, it’s actually quite profound that no matter how alone we feel or even if we run from God, there is NOWHERE that we can go that His love won’t chase us down
So, don’t walk, RUN to buy this album! You won’t be sorry if you enjoy a more alternative pop sound and out-of-the-norm Christian music.

A fresh, modern sound with simple but compelling lyrics to boot. The music style is complimented well by Sarah Reeves' beautifully smooth vocals which bring a touch of intimacy to each song. I especially enjoyed the solace of "Easy", the wonder of "Speechless", the praise of "Fall Afresh" and the bliss of "Feel the Waters."

Every time a song of Sara's came on while listening to Google play I could tell it was her because of the very distinct and beautiful voice God has given her. Her songs are not only catchy and great to listen to but more importantly, they touch so deeply to having a relationship with God (to me) and I really need that in my life right now!
Love this album!
