Hip Material and Groundbreaking

This is the first time I really listened to the "2-Step/Garage" style of dance music, and I'm a new fan. Try a few songs on here, you won't be disappointed and you'll find a new, fun genre to explore.
Todd Edwards is a good artist to start off with for those who are not familiar with this unique style of dance. Like the name implies, the beats are based on a 2-step rhythm on a 4/4 bar, and there is more emphasis on the organ keys and an irregular beat. Its very catchy and has a "smooth, jazzy" feel to the beats and melodies. Listening to this music makes you picture yourself standing in a hip/fashion district of London, Tokyo, or Seoul with the night-time neons flashing bright, while you stand fresh with some hip clothes and wearing vicious sunglasses.
What makes Todd more unique within the genre is his really creative way of "cutting" up the vocals to make them instruments themselves. Its awesome and special. Like on "Main Vibe," the 'chorus' sounds like, "Feeling...feeling, AH ah ah!" Then the 'verse' repeats, "Main vibe...main vibe..." with various other vocal snippets put in the background for added effect. It is its own melody that carries the song.
This music is groundbreaking compared to the usual mundane techno of today. Give it a shot.
