Not their best. Fun, yes. Interesting, yess. Art? Yes, but not on the level of no love deep web or the $$$ store or even government plates.
It is cohesive in itself but not as much variety of sounds as their past work. Would’ve been fun if there were a couple switch up songs in there, but it almost all sounded the same, & not in a good way.
It’s Eh.

It took a few weeks to get this one. Had to go back and listen from “the money store” up to “steroids(HTCG)” THEN it made sense. Bottomless Pit is still my favorite. And song wise YOTS is more of a front to back listen than a single packed album. But five stars for managing not to pigeon hole themselves into ANY genre.
One of the most creative, original bands ever. Wish John Cage could’ve heard this stuff.

Out of my 4 years of listening to DG, I can say that this album is the most polished and accessible. Adding layers to their already experimental music, such as psychedelic rock vibes. A strong 9 from me.

Unlike one of their tracks state, Death Grips did not disappoint. The group’s newest album has everything I didn’t and did not expect.
Those “boom boom boom” samples made me ascend to a higher plane of existence.
