  • A Beautiful Work

A breakthrough solo work from the female member of the Irish traditional group - Danu. Those familiar with Danu will already have had the pleasure of hearing Muireann's work, but this is a collection of pure joy. Certainly a beauty in her own right, these songs demonstrate amazing grasp of the sentiments through a tonal quality that rivals any peer. The beautiful dulcet tone and textures of her voice make this an absolute must for their collection. Listening to these songs immediately transports me back to my youth in Mayo. Muireann is pure sunshine to the music world.
  • A real gift

This young lady is truly gifted by God to have such a voice, and she has used that gift to the benefit of others. It finally had hit me where I heard such tonal clarity, and that was when I first heard Suzy Boggess and again with Maire Brennan.
  • Great solo album from the vocalist of Danu

And she's pretty. The least she could do for us regular folks is be really plain looking. Muireann has a gorgeous voice and plays a very solid whistle/flute. Nearly all the songs are fantastic and include some nice mixing with her doing background harmonies, something you don't get to hear too often from her Danu outings. If you like her in Danu and want some more gorgeous songs sean nos, then this is a great album.
