Because this is so perfect, it lacks to very much. Sure, he sings amazingly well but nothing feels real for me, here. I listen thinking he is professionally singing these songs and that is it. There is simply no passion beyond his own interest to cover these wonderful songs, professionally. Does JG have a song in him that is not someone else's?
Incredibly talented

I really love this CD - such a great selection of songs. Jason Gould's vocals are clear crisp and really engaging. His voice has a a compelling quality. Quincy Jones did a brilliant job with the production. Stunning arrangements. Each and every track track is a winner!

As expected after his last album. He sings with confidence & holds his own! Can hardly wait for his first solo concert! I’ll be first in line & front row! Awesome choice of songs.
What an incredible debut!

Read about the release in People magazine and immediately went on ITunes to listen. Skimmed through a couple of the tunes and I am delighted to be the newest Jason Gould fan!

After hearing "Jason Gould", I wanted more. Now it is here, and I found it deeply satisfying. Jason Gould has not only found his voice, he has freed it to soar and sweep us away...well, me, anyway. I love the song selections, the arrangements and the delivery. I'm reminded of great late-night cabaret performances in intimate venues, relaxing with a cocktail or two to sweet sounds I'd carry home to bed with me then wake remembering fondly the next day. I could not be more pleased with an album. It will be frequently played, and I doubt the enchantment will fade.
