"Nightscenes" has long been my favorite Michael Whalen album. I especially want to point out the track: Part 4, Love. There's something about it that just gives me a feeling of love and peace, and a love and peace that is shared, spreading light morning light on a meadow. It just makes me connected to the greater feelings of good in the world. Pretty amazing! I just downloaded "My Secret Heart" which also has many beautiful selections. Good for a quiet candlelit winter's evening.

I'm trying to get the vibe of a review. I do the same thing wi music, I put it somewhere, but the city wasnt getting the job done for me, even though I know. Just throw it anywhere, all the time, and it will fit somewhere. It was 199? On a greyhound bus and I had taped a radio program called the hearts of space, and the group Suspended Memories, song, distant look. The bus was somewhere in Iowa maybe, and the song came on and we were passing mountain ranges witha purple orange sunset, it was so far out, I'm not even a hippy, but it blew my mind, what I saw and what I heard connected together

I've listened to a lot of Michael Whalen and this is by far his best. It's best listened to while driving at night through the city.

This is both relaxing and beautiful. If you love the almost "smooth jazz" (a term I hate) efforts of John Serrie, you are going to love this disc. Pt.4 Love is my most favorite. Close Your Eyes..is another gem.
